Rhyan Opel works as the Student Programs Recruiting Coordinator. In this role, she contacts potential students and meets with them and their families to promote the Ashbrook Center and bring more incredible students into the Ashbrook Scholar Program. She will be graduating from Ashland University in December 2022 after completing her student teaching in the fall at Avon High School with a dual degree: Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History and a Bachelor of Education in Integrated Social Studies. Rhyan is very passionate about high schoolers and their futures, and loves bringing students to the Ashbrook Scholar Program, which served her so well during college and helped to form her as a citizen and human being.
