Ashbrook Attracts Top Social Studies Teachers
December 24, 2020
Ashbrook is the school of choice for many of the top teachers in the country. The James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation offers Graduate Fellowships to individuals desiring to become outstanding teachers of the American Constitution at the secondary school level.
Of the 56 Fellowships that have been awarded this year, 18 of those teachers have chosen to attend the Ashbrook Center’s Master of Arts in American History and Government (MAHG) program. Since the start of the MAHG program in 2005 Ashbrook has attracted more Madison Fellows than Harvard, Stanford, Columbia and Yale, combined.
Madison Fellowship applicants compete against other applicants from the states of their legal residence. Generally, one Fellowship per state is awarded each year.
