David Tucker is a Senior Fellow at the Ashbrook Center at Ashland University and Associate Director of the Master of Arts in American History and Government at Ashland University. He received his Ph.D. in history at the Claremont Graduate School.
His most recent book is Illuminating the Dark Arts of War: Terrorism, Sabotage and Subversion in Homeland Security and the New Conflict. He is also the author of Skirmishes at the Edge of Empire, The United States and International Terrorism (Praeger, 1997), co-author (with Christopher Lamb) of United States Special Operations Forces (Columbia University Press, 2007), and co-editor (with Christopher Harmon) of Statecraft and Power (University Press of America, 1994). In addition to his work on national security issues, he has authored a book on Thomas Jefferson and an essay on John Quincy Adams.
