The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage

Where and when

October 23, 2024 —
12:00 Noon - 1:30 PM

John C. Myers Convocation Center

In a world where voices are often louder and real conversations fewer, the fundamental right to free speech stands at a crossroads. The Ashbrook Center is honored to welcome esteemed legal scholar Jonathan Turley for a discussion on his groundbreaking new book, The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage.

Mr. Turley will place the current attacks on free speech in their proper historical, legal, and political context and offer insights into why our nation’s lurch toward censorship is not “a political crisis” but “a crisis of faith.”

We hope you’ll join us!
