On Sept. 17, 1787, the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they had created. They sent it on to the people in the several states for ratification. Sept. 17 has been called, ever since, Constitution Day. The Ashbrook Center at Ashland University celebrates Constitution Day by holding a public lecture commemorating the great charter of our liberties.
