We created this resource and are offering it for free because we believe the best way for Americans to learn about our nation’s history and core principles is by discovering the story of America for themselves as it is told in the words of those who lived and wrote it—beginning with the Founding.

The 50 Core American Documents volume aims to solve a serious problem in American education today. Students–whether in high school, elementary school, or even at the university level- hardly scratch the surface in learning about our Founding. 

Documents critical to our individual freedom, such as the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, may be referenced or briefly summarized but are rarely studied deeply as part of the curriculum. And countless other important documents that helped to shape our country are unfamiliar to too many young Americans — because they have never been introduced in class.

Instead of challenging students to think for themselves, too many schools are leaning toward indoctrinating them with misinformation about our Founding. As a result, more and more young Americans believe our history is a story of oppression, not freedom.

Each new graduating class will either fritter away our freedom and undermine our Founding principles or become responsible citizens who understand why America is worthy of their respect and devotion.
