Tyler MacQueen is a graduate of Ashland University where he received his degree in History and Political Science. During his undergraduate career, he was a member of the Ashbrook Scholar Program, served as Vice President of both Student Government and the Alexander Hamilton Society, and was a three time distinguished delegate for the Ohio Valley Model Arab League. He wrote his senior statesmanship thesis on the political philosophy of Abraham Lincoln.

Prior to accepting his position at Ashbrook in 2019, Tyler worked in the United States Senate as an intern for Senator Rob Portman and at the Ashbrook Center for three years. From 2016-18, Tyler held a prestigious Fellowship with Passages and facilitated ten-day trips for college students through the State of Israel.

In his current position as Foundation Gifts Coordinator, Tyler is responsible for writing and submitting grant proposals and reports to foundation donors and prospects.
