John Locke: Liberalism and Modern Science

Steven Forde is Professor of Political Science at the University of North Texas. His research encompasses many areas within political philosophy. He has published Locke, Science and Morality (Cambridge University Press), and The Ambition to Rule: Alcibiades and the Politics of Imperialism (Cornell University Press). He has also published articles and book chapters on American political thought, classical and modern thought, evolution and political theory, and international ethics. He currently serves as an editor of the American Political Science Review.
