Lisa Ormiston is a 2007 graduate of Ashland University and the Ashbrook Scholar Program where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and history. She also earned her MBA with a specialization in Human Resources from Ashland University in 2016.

As an intern for the Ashbrook Center, Lisa helped coordinate the 2006 Presidential Academies for American History and Civics. Then, following her graduation in 2007, she was hired on full-time to serve as the Center’s Recruitment Coordinator for both the Ashbrook Scholar Program and the Master of American History and Government program and to coordinate the Presidential and Congressional Academies for American History and Civics.

Currently, Lisa serves as our Office Manager as well as the Executive Director’s assistant.
